Lawrence Green, Adam Clarke and Keiran Williams are tackling the massive challenge of LEJOG. Riding from Land’s End in Cornwall to John O’Groats in Scotland. The planned route totals 887 miles (1,428 km) with 41,700 ft (12,720 m) of elevation. The plan is to cycle that distance in only 9 days starting on Thursday 19th June and finishing on Saturday 27th June 2026. This is a self-organised ride with support being provided by family and friends so 100% of money raised goes to charity where it is most needed.

We are riding in aid of East Anglian Air Ambulance, a charity with special significance to Adam. In 2018, Adam was involved in a serious car crash on a rural road in Norfolk, leaving him with life threatening head injuries. Paramedics recognised the seriousness of Adam’s injuries and called for the Air Ambulance. Adam was rushed from the accident site to Addenbrooke’s hospital where he received the urgent treatment that has allowed him to make a full recovery. Without the speed of the transfer to hospital and the early medical intervention, Adam’s prospects of a full recovery were a lot lower. Adam says “The speedy rescue that East Anglian Air Ambulance were able to provide has given me the life I have today. Our last challenge was my way of saying thank you to those who crewed my flight, this challenge is about giving someone else the same chance a life the I was given”.

For Adam and Keiran, this is the second big cycling challenge they have undertaken for East Anglian Air Ambulance. In 2024, Adam and Keiran cycled from Paris to London with the aim of completing the ride in 24 hours. In the end, due to a number of difficult circumstances, they managed the ride in 24 hours and 44 minutes. They raised a fantastic £4,209, beating there initial £3,500 target, which was the cost of Adam’s flight in 2018.

This time, the target is to raise £4,250. This is the current cost of Air Ambulance mission. We hope you can support us to save a life.
