Getting back to driving after illness or an accident can be a daunting process. You may have been asked by the DVSA to take a driving assessment or you may want to look at your options to get you back behind the wheel.
I work closely with our local assessment centre East Anglian Driveability based in Thetford and I can support you through the assessment process, and if appropriate provide pre-assessment training.
After an assessment, lessons may be recommended to help you drive with any adaptions that have been advised, or you may need help to get you back to a safe driving standard. I am experienced at supporting students through this process, working with a range needs and adaptions. I have both manual and automatic dual controlled cars to provide lessons as you get back on the road, and once confidence has been built up, I am happy to support you in getting used to your car.
Each student’s needs are different, so I work with the individual to understand how their condition affects them, how pain and tiredness can be an added complication and how best to support them in achieving their goals.
